Marginosa wordmarkLogin
A pilot program for independent flower shops

Find out which arrangements actually make you money.

A custom profitability report for your shop with the Marginosa intelligence system.

What used to take years and a team of analysts, we've designed into an automated system that turns wholesale invoices and your recipe library into real margin numbers in days. We're running it on ten more shops to validate the engine before it goes live for anyone.

How This Pilot Works

you get

Profitability insights.

A custom report that shows margin per arrangement, seasonal patterns in your numbers, and 25 stems you're overpaying for with local sourcing alternatives. The kind of analysis a CFO and an analyst would build for you over a quarter, delivered in four days.

we get

Real data to validate our profitability engine.

We've tested the system on one shop. Ten shops with ten different vendor mixes, recipe styles, and price points tells us where the engine is right and where it isn't. Your data sharpens the product before we charge anyone for it.

This pilot is for you if...

You know your shop is busy. But the monthly bank statement doesn't tell a good story.

You've been running on instinct and the bank balance for a long time. You probably have a spreadsheet you maintain when you have time. You likely don't know which of your top sellers makes the most money. Or which one quietly loses it.

That's the problem Marginosa was built to solve.

I always assumed Cheerful Yellow was profitable. Turns out I was barely making $2 every time it walked out the door.

The questions we answer
  • Which of your arrangements actually clear a healthy margin?
  • Which ones are priced too low for the labor they take?
  • What does your margin look like by season?
  • Which 25 stems are costing you more than they should?
  • Where could you source those stems locally instead?
The Marginosa Report

Three things you'll know about your shop that you don't know today.

Margin Map

Profitability by arrangement

Every arrangement in your recipe library, ranked by gross margin. Your best earners. Your quiet losers. The ones priced too low for the labor they take.

Seasonal View

When your margin holds and when it slips

Which months your numbers stay strong, which months they soften, and where the swings come from. Built from a year of your real costs and your real sales pattern.

Sourcing Audit

25 stems you're overpaying for

A targeted list of flowers where your costs sit above market. For each one, we suggest a local source. Most shops find 10 to 25 percent in savings on these stems alone.

How it works

Share some of your data. Most of the work is on our side.

No software to install. No POS to change. You upload, we process, you keep the report.

01

You apply

Fill out the form below. We confirm fit and reach back within one business day.
02

You upload

12 months of supplier invoices and your recipe library and POS sales data. PDFs, scans, or phone photos. About 30 minutes of your time on a private upload link.
03

We process

We extract every line item, match it to your recipes, layer in market benchmarks, and build your report. Two to four days.
04

You get the report

A 30-minute walk-through call and a written report you keep. The only thing we ask back is your feedback on what was useful.
The honest part

Why we're doing this for free.

We built and tested Marginosa on one shop's data. ~$1 million in transactions. The system works.

One shop is not enough.

Before we go live, we want to see it run on ten shops with ten different vendor mixes, recipe styles, and price points. Your data tells us where the system is right and where it isn't. You get a report and our support along the way. No charge for the pilot.

Who qualifies

We're looking for 10 independent retail flower shops.

If you've been running the shop for a year or more, you have invoices and recipes in some form, and you can give us 60 minutes total of your time, you're a fit. Format and messiness of the data does not matter.

You're a fit if
  • You have at least 12 months of supplier invoices in any format
  • You have a recipe library or design book, even paper
  • You can be on a 30-minute walk-through when the report is ready
  • You're willing to tell us what was useful and what wasn't
We're not the right fit for
  • Wedding-only or event-only studios (not yet at least)
  • Pop-up businesses without a steady weekly inventory
  • Shops without 12 months of records
